Almost 500 people have discovered CreolesOnline, a network that connects Creoles to share media, participate in online discussions, and get together for social gatherings.

Creole Faces” is a great feature that profiles notable Creoles like DJ iET. iET is passionate for Zouk music, and his name pays tribute to his country of origin — saying the letters “i-e-t” out loud makes the native pronunciation of Haiti.

This network’s forum is a particularly fertile one. One member recently introduced the topic of Haitian culture and intellectualism via a poem — and within two hours there were already two full pages of responses.

“Whether you’re from Haiti, Cape Verde, Martinique, Guadeloupe, the Islands,” or anywhere else with a rich mix of cultures, CreolesOnline is for you!
